Inspiring others to Live a Purposeful Life
Increased productivity in the community starts with you. If you want to see the change that you have longed for in the community, you need to be part of that change. By being part, I mean that you need to lead an exemplary life which will influence others to follow; a life which influences others. You need to set standards which you want to live in and then have realistic objectives of living by the standards.
I know how painful it is to accomplish one’s dreams or rather live a purposeful life, but with much patience and efforts, anyone can achieve them. It all calls for endurance, but the easy bit which can enable an individual to attain the life that one dreams of, it by practicing good habits which lead to prosperity.
I was never born in a well-to-do family. Actually, as I grew up, there were many things that I lacked. The worse bit is that I came from a cynical family which believed that everything good had already been blessed to those who already had it. My parent simply didn’t believe that we could one day get out the vagaries of poverty. They made me believe in this pessimistic opinion which adversely affected my life.
Even as an adult, I still believed that I couldn’t make my life better past the lifestyle of average people. It was as if I was doomed. The greater village that I grew up in too had the same reasoning. This myopic thinking must have had a negative impact in my community for long. It made us lazy and we had to contend with the simple life that we were used to living.
How to Get Inspired each Day
One day I happened to attend a work seminar, where we were addressed by a motivational speaker who was too optimistic in life. In talked to us about how a change in perception could help us lead better life. To become more productive we had to change our mindsets and then adhere to some better practices which would make us more effective. The speaker was so convincing that I felt that I had been deluded for long. I decided to try out a few practices and see the changes that he had been preaching about. They did work.
There are some lifestyle practices that can enable anyone to become more productive. You need to know how to practice them and later on impact them on others so that you can make your community a better place.
Getting a Better Night’s Sleep
Sleep is of much importance to humans because it enables us not only to rest but to rejuvenate our mind and replenish the energy lost. Basically, by sleeping for about 7 hours, a person is at a good position to become more productive. Good sleep is also of much importance to our health and well-being because it enables us to repair the worn out tissues and restore back the energy lost. As a matter of facts, people who are prone to short periods of sleep are more likely to suffer from long-term problems.
Therefore, there is need to set the most appropriate environment which will help you get better sleep. This will include practices like creating a distraction-free environment, eating healthy foods and drinks and also getting better exercises which tool helps in reducing stress accumulated in the brain.
Actually by exercising daily, we enable the brain to release any accumulated daily tension and that helps us to sleep calmly and peacefully. Of course never forget to drink enough water at night which enables your body to become re-hydrated all through the night hence you will get better sleep.
Energizing your Morning before Work
The next important aspect of a productive day is the morning. You need to wake up early. Don’t be a lazy person who loves snoozing the alarm every 10 minutes before getting out of bed. Make it a routine to wake up at a specific time and with time your brain will adjust and you will never be late in anything.
To get motivated about a beautiful morning, you need to wake up to something which delights you.
Personally, I ever smile at the beautiful morning sunshine. It usually inspires me that I have a great day ahead which is meant to make life better. Make it an habit to have something which inspires you in the morning, and this will enable you to wake up on time – a morning cup of coffee, a morning jog etc.
Then you need to have a good breakfast which will give you the necessary energy to carry out the day’s work. It’s never advisable to skip breakfast. Take something which provides good energy like whole grains, milk etc. after the breakfast, a good shower or exercise can follow before you review your day’s schedule.
By practicing these habits, you find yourself motivated and you will be productive throughout the day. Eventually, you will also be able to inspire others to make healthy choices in life.
